We intend to dispatch your order within 3 working days of receipt of order if we have the products in stock. However, we normally dispatch the same day for orders received before 12PM (Japan time, GMT +9). 

We are closed on weekends and National Holidays in Japan (the list below is the National Holidays in 2021-2022). We will inform you on our website if we are out of service except for these days.

For domestic shipping to Japan, we offer you two methods - 定形外 (Teikeigai) and ゆうパック(Yu Pack) by Japan Post.

定形外 (Teikeigai) 

  • Not insured nor tracked
  • By weight
  • Doesn't require a signature
  • We don't send teaware with this method
  • Up to 5 packs of tea

ゆうパック(Yu Pack)

  • Insured and tracked
  • By size and areas
  • Require a signature
  • You can pick preferred delivery date/ time
  • Takes less delivery time compared to 定形外 (Teikeigai)

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We ship internationally using Japan Posts EMS and ePacket. Your shipping fee depends on your country of residence (or the receiver's if it's a gift) and the size and weight of the order. You will be given all the prices clearly at checkout after this has been calculated by the system. Deliveries require a signature. If a signee is unavailable at the door, the post office will leave a notification slip and your package will be held for an undetermined period of time at your local post office. Please arrange directly with your post office to schedule a re-delivery or pickup. We are not responsible for packages that are unclaimed at the post office and returned to us.

CUSTOMS CHARGES AND FEES

Depending on the country, the package may be stopped at customs. This can lead to delays in delivery and may result in customs charges or import charges. We are not responsible for the local postal delays or delays due to customs inspection. We advise you to check the importation guidelines of the postal authority or import authority of your country before ordering.  We also are not responsible for paying any customs charges, VAT, import VAT, import charges or local taxes and we cannot accept returns due to refusal to pay these fees.
